Designing in full swing

I am currently working on about 6 projects right now and I am starting to get overwhelmed. Not only do I have lots of design stuff at work, I am dreading some upcoming critiques of my not “work” work. I know it is going to be rough, but I’m sure that it will all turn out well. I think the most frusterating part of these critiques is that the person doing them knows enough to think that he knows what he’s talking about when in all reality, he doesn’t.

Also, I’m trying to learn HTML and CSS. I’d really like to be able to make the jump from print design to web design and so I’ve bought a book and have been checking out W3schools.com. I’ve learned a lot already and I hope to start coming up with some CSS code soon. I really would like to master this so that I can maybe someday do some freelance work. I think it would be pretty awesome. Right now I’m working with my buddy Rick on the AWAKEN website and that has been a blast. I hope to learn more from him and others in my quest to join the web design world.

So I need to get back to work.

  1. I can’t thank you enough for all the time and effort you’ve put in to designing the graphics for the Awaken site. It looks really kick butt, all because we care about it (almost too much).
Thanks for all of your not “work” work ;)
